Hi, my name is Jenny Ford, I am an author, emotional healer and inspirational writer and the creator of the Write to Release Workshop.

I am very heart centered I always come from a place of love in my personal life and business.

My mission and my calling are to make a difference, to help as many people as I can on their healing journey through the written word whether that is through my books, courses, or workshops.

My intention and purpose of creating this workshop is to help you connect to a place of inner peace, comfort, acceptance, and emotional healing. To find your light, to release, be enlightened, empowered and feel uplifted.

So, what is Write To Release?

It is exactly what it says in the title. We write to release our thoughts, feelings, and emotions through expressive writing. Releasing all the things that we have been holding on to, things that may have been building up for a long time and finding it hard to let go of. (I must stress this does not mean letting go of the loss of a loved one).

When we go through adversity, overwhelm, and challenges I would always advise people to find someone they can trust and feel comfortable with to talk to. But I also know that there are many people who find expressing their thoughts and feelings verbally difficult to do. So, I believe the next best thing is to write it down.

I want to ask you....... HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN YOU RELEASE SOMETHING STRESSFUL?

Happier? Lighter? More relaxed? Stress-free?

IT'S AN INCREDIBLE FEELING RIGHT?!

That's why I have created this AMAZING workshop to help you to have the tools and techniques to go to, so that you can release anything when it shows up for you - in your life.

I created this workshop, not from reading it in a book, or googling it - but from experience

I have been through the worst kind of loss that a parent can go through (child loss), ill health that left me feeling depressed and hopeless. Abuse, mentally, physically, and verbally. Painful relationship breakup’s, divorce, stress, anxiety, and trauma.

I know what it feels like to have your mental health and wellbeing shot to pieces leaving you feeling helpless and not knowing what to do. I understand what it feels like to go through physical and emotional pain. And I found a way to help me get through it and I want to share that with you.

As an author I know how powerful, healing, and empowering the written word can be especially when they are your own written words. I discovered this when I became ill in 2009 and wrote my very first book. ‘A Collection of Inspirational Guided prayers’ I’m not saying you must write a book to release what is going on in your life but writing down how you feel is good for the Mind, Body and Soul.

Writing about your thoughts and feelings can be difficult but emotionally healing. I will be honest with you; it can bring up memories that you may not want to remember and re-live. It can open that pandora’s box. It can be challenging and scary. But if we bury those feelings and emotions, it can stop us from moving forward to a more positive way of life.

Is this a quick, fast-fix for your problems?

Most definitely not. It is a process that takes time, but you may start to see improvements in your mental and physical health after a short period.

The more you get into the habit of writing 15-20 minutes every day the freer you become of the emotions building up, gaining greater clarity of the situation you are writing about and coming to terms with what has happened.

Thinking of Ideas

It's also very much about your mindset

Every thought we have brings with it a feeling and it’s those thoughts that makes you feel the way you do which can have an impact on you mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Anger, frustration, stress, anxiety can weaken the immune system up to six hours. But just five minutes of feeling love, gratitude and compassion strengthens the immune system for six hours.

Writing down your thoughts and feelings will improve not only the immune system but also the mind.

Being open, honest, and true to yourself gives you that freedom to write down your thoughts and feelings without judgement bringing emotional healing, and life changing opportunities just like it did for me.

Writing a Diary

Expressive writing is used as a therapeutic tool to help you understand the reasons for your thoughts and feelings. It allows you to search deep within yourself.

You don’t have to worry about punctuation, spelling or grammar, nobody will see it, it is for your eyes only.

There is no wrong or right way in writing these down, only your way.

All your writing in this workshop is private and confidential.

We work in small intimate groups of six people sitting away from each other, this is a very private and personal moment so no one can see what you are writing. This is a space for you to transform.

Know you have the support from others and that you are not alone.
Your situations may not be the same, but your story will be.

It’s time to take control of your life, your soul journey.

Let your written words be your voice.
